Is Copilot allowed on PokerNow?

What Copilot reads, what it never does, and why the answer depends on the game you sit in.

2 min read

Every PokerNow game is set up and run by its host, and hosts set their own rules. Some welcome stats and equity tools, some ban any assistance during play. So the honest answer is: it depends on your game. Ask your host, and follow their rules. Copilot is not affiliated with PokerNow, and we cannot speak for PokerNow or for any host.

What it reads

  • What PokerNow already shows you: your cards, the board, bets, stacks, seats and the action buttons.
  • The table’s hand log, which PokerNow keeps for players at the table, read with your own logged-in session.
  • Cards players showed at showdown, as the log records them.

What it never does

  • See hidden cards. It has no access to anything a player has not shown.
  • Play for you. It never bets, calls or raises. The only button it can press is check or fold, in an away mode you switch on yourself.
  • Share your data with players. Copilot keeps your stats in your browser and never shows them to other players.

Away mode

Stepped away? Away mode checks when it can and folds when it must, or, if you pick it, always folds. Each time, it first shows for a moment the button it is about to press, and a key press or click from you in that moment cancels it and switches away mode off. It does what PokerNow’s own timer would do, without making the table wait, and it never puts a chip in the pot.

When data leaves your browser

Only when you ask the AI, by clicking or with AUTO on. Then the hand and Copilot’s player stats go to our server, which sends Google’s Gemini the hand and the stats of the players in it. We do not keep the hand. The privacy page has the details.
