What Copilot reads, where it goes, and what we keep.

Draft — to be reviewed. This is a first draft written to match how Copilot works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before launch.

The short version

What the extension reads

On pokernow.com pages, in your browser, Copilot reads:

What stays in your browser

The extension keeps these in Chrome's storage for the extension, on your computer:

If you have PokerNow Plus and open a player's notes, Copilot writes their stats into that note and sets its colour. Those notes are saved by PokerNow in your PokerNow account.

Removing the extension deletes what it stored in your browser.

What our server stores

Only if you create an account:

We do not store your hands, the table state, player stats, or the AI's questions and answers. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and time, for running and securing the service.

AI answers: Google Gemini

When you click Analyze moves, ask for a player read, or have auto-analysis on, the extension sends our server the table state and the stats it holds on the players. Our server builds the question and sends it to Google's Gemini API. Google Gemini receives the hand (your cards, the board, the pot, stacks, positions, the action buttons and the display names of the players still in) and the stats of the players in it. For a player read it receives that player's name and stats, and the current board and pot. Google processes this under its Gemini API terms. We pass the answer back to you and keep neither the question nor the answer.

Payments: Stripe

Checkout, billing and the billing portal are run by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. Stripe tells us your customer id, your subscription status and billing dates, and which payments went through, and works out any tax from the billing details you give it.
